Eligibility Requirements
- Qualified doctor, nurse, or health professional
- Job offer from NHS or approved healthcare employer
- Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS)
- Salary ≥ £31,450 OR going rate
- English B1 (B2 from early 2026)
- Relevant professional registration (e.g., GMC, NMC)
- Clean criminal record

Path to Settlement (ILR)
After 5 continuous years on a Health & Care Worker visa, you can apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain. Time on this visa counts toward the 5‑year requirement.
