Global Business Mobility (GBM) Visa
For Overseas Workers on Temporary UK Assignments
Temporary route: This visa does not lead to settlement (ILR).
Available GBM Categories

| Service Supplier | Contractual service supplier from a country with a relevant trade agreement | 1 year (or length of contract) |
| Secondment Worker | Employees seconded to the UK under a high‑value contract | 1 year |
Common Requirements (All Categories)
- Job offer from an approved UK sponsor
- Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS)
- Salary ≥ £41,700 (or going rate) – increased July 2025
- English not required for most GBM routes
- Maintenance funds: £1,270
Important: No Settlement Path
Time spent on any Global Business Mobility visa does not count towards Indefinite Leave to Remain. You cannot settle in the UK on this visa.
Salary Requirements (July 2025)
The minimum salary for most GBM routes increased to £41,700 or the standard going rate for the occupation, whichever is higher. Certain categories (e.g., Graduate Trainee) have lower thresholds.
