Eligibility Requirements
- Job offer from approved UK scale‑up
- Certificate of Sponsorship (6 months minimum)
- Job at RQF Level 6 (graduate level)
- Salary ≥ £41,700 OR going rate
- English B1 (B2 from early 2026)
- Maintenance funds: £1,270
- Valid passport
Unique Flexibility – After 6 Months
After 6 months on this visa, you are free to change employers, become self‑employed, or work in a different role without needing a new visa or further sponsorship.
Duration & Extension
- Initial visa: Up to 2 years
- Extensions: Can be extended for 3 years at a time, unlimited times
- Settlement (ILR): After 5 total years in the UK on Scale‑up or combined with other eligible visas
Path to Settlement (ILR)
After 5 continuous years (which can include time on Skilled Worker, Scale‑up, or Global Talent visas), you can apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain.
